(Message 940)
Posted 21 May 2021 by cpalmer Post: I've just tried detaching/reattaching and still get the same error. My permissions of those files are identical to biodoc's. |

Release CmDock v 0.1.2
(Message 934)
Posted 21 May 2021 by cpalmer Post: I've seen a few versions come and go this morning, each with different errors. However I just tried 2.03 on Fedora 33 and it fails as below. (Version 1 works fine). <core_client_version>7.16.11</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> process exited with code 195 (0xc3, -61)</message> <stderr_txt> 12:52:59 (71949): wrapper (7.17.26016): starting 12:52:59 (71949): wrapper (7.17.26016): starting 12:52:59 (71949): wrapper: running cmdock (-c -r target.prm -p "/var/lib/boinc/slots/1/data/scripts/dock.prm" -f htvs.ptc -i ligands.sdf -o docking_out) execv() failed: : Permission denied 12:53:00 (71949): cmdock exited; CPU time 0.000275 12:53:00 (71949): app exit status: 0x6c 12:53:00 (71949): called boinc_finish(195) </stderr_txt> ]]> |

Release CmDock v 0.1.2
(Message 929)
Posted 20 May 2021 by cpalmer Post: That's great to see checkpointing added. Unfortunately when I grabbed a bunch they all failed with application /var/lib/boinc/slots/11/build/cmdock missing |

Fifth Target is SARS-CoV-2 EProtein
(Message 713)
Posted 21 Mar 2021 by cpalmer Post: With the longer runtimes for the 5th target, lack of checkpointing is becoming more of a problem. I've had to remove these from machines that aren't always running 24 hours a day. I'll gladly put them back if checkpointing is implemented though... Thanks, Chris |

Something wrong with the validator?
(Message 509)
Posted 2 Feb 2021 by cpalmer Post: Hi OK, so both of these points are a result of this project being configured with quorum=2. Nothing gets validated until 2 hosts have returned identical results. And most of my tasks that are still pending validation haven't yet reached their deadline and were also given out to a host that hasn't been online for quite a while. The other project I am contributing to has quorum=1 so it doesn't happen there. I'm curious how necessary it really is to gain consensus on each WU. Presumably it is there for a reason but it is a huge overhead... |

Posted 2 Feb 2021 by cpalmer Post: Hi A couple of things that concern me:
All of the WUs for my tasks seem to have been given out 2 or 3 times
