Few ram required, long deadline, fast execution. Oh yes, we need (useful) BOINC projects for old machines. Probably even a old Pentium II could do them without missing the deadline. A Pentium II is a bit too old for WinXP, I would run it with Win2k at most. But there also people like me running Dual- and Quadcores with WinXP. kind regards
