Changes in task scheduling and monitoring mechanism
(Message 2128)
Posted 10 Nov 2023 by [SG] Felix Post: Hello! "Short tasks" for computers with ARM CPU only. But for single-board computers like Raspberry Pi they are also long. And the long ones are even longer for those! I am currently crunching on a Long Wu sind alsmost 17 days, and it will need 3 more days. But in my account it already timed out and got assigned to a new machine. Should I abort it? https://www.sidock.si/sidock/result.php?resultid=79849315 Best regards Felix |

Suspicious Host
(Message 652)
Posted 19 Mar 2021 by [SG] Felix Post: could you please check https://www.sidock.si/sidock/show_host_detail.php?hostid=2745. This host has a few thousand wus, all of them runtime around 3 seconds, and then invalid result. Maybe someone tries to gain points without doing real work or there is a real problem. |

Estimate on How Long We're Going to be Out of CurieDock WUs :)
(Message 333)
Posted 23 Dec 2020 by [SG] Felix Post: Yes. Keeping a large buffer just delays the project for everyone. I normally use the default of 0.1 + 0.5 days for work units of normal length. I usually have 0 + 0 days and a backup project with ressource share 0, works fine |

Estimate on How Long We're Going to be Out of CurieDock WUs :)
(Message 330)
Posted 23 Dec 2020 by [SG] Felix Post: it would help, if everybody would load just the amount of wus, which he can calculate at once + maybe the same amount for buffer. |
