Thanks for the info.

So far I got another one that ended successfully but it took 1 day 14 hours to complete. And I have another one going the same way.

Mmm I couldn't find how to "restart" a task, I tried to suspend it and let it run again, but it seemed to continue the same way, so I cancelled it :/

Thanks for the answer anyway.

I have a small host running this task for more than 3 days and claiming to be at 43% with a 1 day left deadline, in theory more than 4 days of calculation left : is it worth letting it run ? will it get credited (if it ends) ?

Hello Natalia, will you ever consider to port for macOS again ? the previous versions were working fine, and then you completely stopped masOS application :(

And moreover : why was macOS discontinued when it was supported for "CurieMarieDock on BOINC + zipped input" and "CurieMarieDock on BOINC" ?

You failed to implement checkpoints and progress bar and then nobody else cared ?

It's a pity :(

Stat cannot be read by https://statseb.boinc-af.org/ neither since 25/04, I also suppose this is due to the server migration ?

Hopefully they will be back soon...

I found a new issue on macOS : the tasks do not suspend.

If I tell boinc to suspend processing globally, boinc "thinks" all is suspended but the tasks actually continue to run !

I will try to fix that, it is an old bug :)

Thanks !

Note that this only happens with Curie tasks, the RxDock do suspend properly.

Hi Natalia

I recently did again some SiDock on my Mac and there is still the same behavior : I have several projects running at the same time, boinc decided to suspend the sidock tasks because there were other tasks to move to high priority run (deadlines...) and I realized the sidock that were clearly in wait state in the boinc manager actually continued to run in memory...

If it can help, now I have some normally crunching sidocks at the moment (together with wanless tasks and QChemPedIA VB tasks)

and as you can see in the process monitor all is nicely sorted "inside" boinc process, itself being "inside" the boinc manager, however in my CPU monitoring tool (iStats Menu) they appear "outside" of boinc

Normally in iStat I only have one row called "boinc manager" with the sum of all CPU used by all the boinc tasks running, not with "some of the boinc tasks out of that sum".

So I think there is "something wrong" in the way boinc is running these sidock tasks, probably due to how these tasks are "self declared to the OS" inside of the code of the sidock curie application.

Thanks for the answer, I tried to start searching on "how to install glibc 2.27 debian" (I'm no linux expert) then I found things like this and thought OMG... so since this small VM is "boinc only" I decided to upgrade to Debian 10, and a few "sudo apt" commands later it was done (cool and fast update process for a major release by the way !!), and now curie is not failing anymore !

Thanks !

Same for me a linux host, all the Curie tasks are failing and all the RxDock are OK.

But the error message is quite different.
