Aloha!
I am 60+ years old. I have a wonderful wife who loves me, and two wonderful children who are both in college furthering their education. I retired from the US Navy in 2002. I have since been in college working on my associate in business for Computer Technology, worked as a Field Product Specialist for Pitney Bowes, and worked as an HP Field Engineer for the local school district. I am now permanently retired due to disabilities. I was a Data Systems technician in the Navy before I was forced into the Electronics Technician Rating. I have been working with, in, or on computers since the early 80's. I hail from South Carolina, USA. I spent the last 3 1/2 years of my naval career in Pearl Harbor, Hawai'i and miss Hawai'i very much. I hope someday to return there. Maybe when the kids are all grown and out on their own, I will move back to Hawaii! |

| I have been involved with Seti@Home since 1999. When they went to BOINC, I of course upgraded with them. When I found that there were other programs running on boinc, I joined them as well. My systems are on 24/7 with the exception of gaming time, and I run BOINC. I have several projects running and I think that it is wonderful that I am able to help further research with my unused processor power. |
